Great sounding recording made by German television. The show centered around a tour rehearsal with funny little snippets running between some of the songs. No Frank Zappa fan should be without this show, Frank's guitar solo on "Easy Meat" alone is worth the download. Although it's a tour rehearsal the band is spot on as it runs through the set. The only way you know it's a rehearsal is when Frank calls for repeated run through of the transition between "Easy Meat" & "Honey Don't You Want A Man Like Me", and when he reminds Tommy Mars about a vocal part he forgot and makes him do it again during "St. Alfonzo / Father Oblivion".
notes:
Track one has some sounds and dialogue from the intro to the TV special. This shows the various members of the band doing weird things like pool vacuuming a local river, and Frank walking around a Munich store's toy section. There was snippets of this footage through out the TV show as well as an interview with Frank's bodyguard. All of this was edited out without the loss of any music. Track one is the only track with the voice over.
