Benjamin Orr – lead and backing vocals, bass guitar
Elliot Easton – lead guitar, backing vocals

Greg Hawkes – keyboards, guitars, backing vocals

Short but sweet sounding FM version of this popular show. It has many versions floating around on the net in FM and Pre-FM form. This version is an FM Master from The Joe Maloney Collection via Krw_co. Krw_co always have great masters and this is no exception. I can't remember the actual sound quality of the different versions on my hard drives so how this one stands up to them is only a guess. If you're like me and need many versions of each show then take this one. If that's not you it's okay too.

"Night Spots" had not yet been recorded since it was on Candy-O and that was released in 1979. The debut album had just been out about a month at the time of this recording. "When You Gonna Lay Me Down", "Take What You Want" and "Hotel Queenie" went unreleased. This recording comes from a discrete quad source mixed down to stereo for this upload (?) as explained in the uploaders notes. It is definitely a nice sounding show and one of the earliest Cars bootlegs that I have. I hope you enjoy it.
