Plain and simple Nguyên Lê is a kick ass guitarist that all that love Jazz Guitar should check out. As a matter of fact I have already share 2 Nguyên Lê shows from his Jazz Tribute To Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon (here & here). They were pretty popular, now's your chance to hear his playing in a more stripped down musical setting. From the Pat Metheny-esque beginning of "Jazz Nelson" to the frenetic McLaughlin-isms of "Dance Of The Comet" this show should prove to be a very pleasant listen.

Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana with Conductor Markus Poschner

In 2014, Nguyên Lê, together with Michael Gibbs and the NDR Bigband, released Celebrating The Dark Side Of The Moon. At the 2018 Estival Jazz in Switzerland, he performs the album with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana. This is the first time Nguyên Lê has performed this Tribute with an orchestra. Celebrating Of Dark Side Of The Moon features Jazz Arraignments for the albums songs. This performance actually includes a couple original compositions that were inspired by the album as well.
