justdave's notes:
I used DVD Audio Extractor to rip the wave files. I then used Goldwave to raise the volume and re-edit some of the track marks. I then encoded the files to MP3 320kbps since the DVD had lossy audio.

Fans of 1970's Hard Rock/Metal such as Cream, Led Zeppelin, and Mountain will definitely enjoy Kamchatka. The Power Trio hails from Sweden and take their name from the vocanically active Russian Kamchatka Peninsula. The band cites influences such as Cactus, King Crimson, Sarah Vaughan, Kyuss, & Devo. Guitarist Thomas Anderson's riff based playing has been compared to Jimi Hendrix & Robin Trower while the bands Bluesy music draws comparison to The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, and Led Zeppelin. This is some great Hard Rock in the 1970's tradition and I highly recommend it!
