justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves using DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to edit track marks, raise the volume and add fade in/fade out at beginning and end respectively. No EQ or noise reduction used. No remastering was done either. The source DVD had lossy audio so the waves were encoded to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper.
Another great performance from the once again reformed Hellacopters. This Swedish Garage Rock band is one of my all time favorites. Nicke Andersson has been in a few of my favorite bands starting with the very influential Death Metal band Entombed to the Garage Rock of Imperial State Electric. You can't go wrong with this show in your collection.

justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I used Goldwave to fix a couple track marks. No EQ, Noise Reduction or Audio processing was needed. There is some muddying of the bass guitar and the bass drum. I did nothing to change that since it's not that bad.
Muti-Talented, multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Nick Anderson's Garage Rock band The Hellacopters are one of my all time favorite bands. This Swedish Garage Rock band plays the genre so well that they were made Honorary Members of The Detroit Garage Rock Scene by none other than Scott Morgan of The Rationals & Sonic's Rendezvous Band. This is an awesome performance from a reunited Hellacopters, Nick took time of to form another Death Metal band called Death Breath amongst other musical side ventures. The Hellacopters are broken up again but Nick formed Imperial State Electric to carry on that Garage Rock sound. He also reunited with his first Death Metal band Entombed amongst other musical side ventures. Nick Anderson seems unable to sit still with releases from over 12 bands in his long busy career.

justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to raise the volume (more than doubled it). I also re-edited a few track marks. No noise reduction or EQ was used, nor was rimixing done. The DVD had lossy audio so I encoded the waves to MP3 320, using Traders Little Helper, aligning on sector boundaries.
Imperial State Electric is yet another project of Nicke Anderson. Since the break up of The Hellacopters, Imperial State Electric and a reformed Entombed are Nick's main focus. Musically if you are a fan of The Hellacopters you'll be a fan of Imperial State Electric. The music is the same, Garage Rock to the core, influenced by the likes of, The MC5, The Rationals, Radio Birdman, The Nomads, The Frost, The Stooges...you get the idea.
This is dedicated to Rocket & Smoker over at Hear Rock City. I downloaded my 1st Hellacopters bootleg from The Original Hear Rock City blog. The Hellacopters Live At Rock Am Ring 2005. A Must Have, which by the way is posted at The New Hear Rock City blog (here). There are also 2 more shows posted on this site from the Hellacopters, Roskilde Festival 2001 (here) and Roskilde Festival 2017 (here) if you haven't downloaded them yet. If you want to check out Entombed I have a great show (here)

Great show from reunited Swedish Garage Rock band The Hellacopters. The band went on hiatus in 2008 after releasing the covers album Head Off. In 2016 the band reunited fr the 20th anniversary of their debut full length Supershitty to the Max!

The Hellacopters are a Swedish Garage Rock band that blends the styles of the early Motor City Garage Rock scene (MC5, Rationals, Stooges, etc) with 1970's Hard Rock influences (Kiss, Blue Cheer, Cheep Trick) and early Punk Rock (The Damned, Ramones, Sex Pistols). The band was considered more than just revivalist scenesters. Many Motor City Rock veterans including Scott Morgan (The Rationals, Sonic's Rendevouze Band), and Iggy Pop considered them rightful heirs to the throne. Morgan recorded a few projects with The Hellacopters and formed another band with 'Coptors main man Nicke Anderson. Nicke Anderson had a nice size career in Death Metal (Entombed was among the first Death Metal bands to be signed to a major label in 1993) when he chucked it all to concentrate full time on The Hellacoptors in 1997. He has now gone back to Death Metal with a band called Death Breath.
