This is a really good recording of a great Rory Gallagher show. Rory was on tour to promote the Against The Grain album. Rory was on a new label, Chrysalis, and was about to change things up a little. After the recording of the follow up album, Calling  Card, Rory would replace his long time band with a new three piece line-up. Rory Gallagher entered the hospital in March of 1995 due to poor health. He was diagnosed with liver failure due to alcohol and sedative use. Rory contracted MRSA while in the hospital and passed away from complications of the disease on June 14, 1995, he was only 47 years old.

Recorded during the bands Paradise Theater Tour, this show sounds great! Everyone is in fine voice and the instrumentation is spot on. My only gripe would be a lack of earlier material but it's a small gripe. A lot of 1980's hits are here that were the soundtrack to my generations teenage years. You couldn't go to a school dance, roller rink, or arcade without hearing most of these songs. For me this was the last Styx album I bought, when Kilroy came out I was more than a little disappointed. I did see the tour which didn't go over real well in Detroit, during the theatrical parts the audience would constantly scream for the band to .."Shut up and Play Some F@#*ing Music!"

We lost John Panozzo at the age of 47 to gastrointestinal hemorrhaging, a complication from cirrhosis of the liver.

Nice set of BBC broadcasts from The Brothers Gibb when they were actually a band with a full line up, not the brothers with backing musicians. Colin Petersen and Vince Melouney both left the band before 1970. None of these performances have been released on any of the box sets or remasters so these are a treat to those who loved the original Bee Gees. The Bee Gees were able to sustain a long and successful career. The band has won 9 Grammys, 5 American Music Awards, 109 BMI Awards, A Brit Award for Outstanding Contibution To Music, 19 Platinum Albums, 16 Gold Albums, 12 Gold Singles, and 7 Platinum Singles. We lost Maurice Gibb at the age of 53 to a heart attack, while awaiting emergency surgery to repair a strangulated intestine. We lost his twin Robin Gibb at the age of 62 from liver and kidney failure, complications of colorectal cancer which had metastasized to his liver.
