Today's post in our Salute To Progressive Rock Bands is by Focus. The Dutch Progressive Rockers are known by most New JDP readers, we have featured them before. Their Jazz/Hard Rock mostly instrumental brand of Progressive Rock is a favorite of mine. I love this show in particular because it consists of just one song, a almost 50 minute version of "Eruption" off of Focus II or Moving Waves as it was called in The U.S.A. It was my first Focus album purchase, of course bought for "Hocus Pocus" which was the only song I ever heard from Focus on American Radio. I soon however, began spinning side 2 of that album over and over again. The single track on side 2 was "Eruption" and I loved to get stoned and listen to it, like "Echoes" on Pink Floyd's Meddle.
