This is a fabulous sounding show, and the performance is the very one that made me a Be-Bop Deluxe fan. The first time I heard this broadcast in the 1970's I thought they were a great Guitar Rock Band with an ability to write a Pop hook that just will not let go. Be-Bop Deluxe was one of those bands that is hard to believe they are not huge. Here in The USA Be-Bop Deluxe is almost unknown. I would get out one of their records to play for a friend and they would have a blank look on their face. Usually they would say something like "Be-Bop Deluxe? I know you like a lot of odd shit, are they a Disco or Dance band?"....I've converted some of my friends to fans of this great group. None of us have ever caught Be-Bop Deluxe live so my bootleg collection helps us at least hear how they sounded.

This is a very nice sounding encoding as well. There is a minimal amount of audible vinyl pops. With you're surround sound speakers situated right this recording gives you the feeling of sitting close to the stage with audience and ambient noise all around you. Unfortunately you can not encode Quadraphonic to MP3 so I ripped the audio to 2 channels so that if you want MP3 you at least get the same mix just not the real separation of the Quad. Trust me so far every encoder I've tried has said ERROR WAVE incompatible: too many CHANNELS. It's been frustrating.

The Quad Flac file set is rather large so I divided them into 3 parts. ALL parts must be downloaded to unzip them. The links are interchangeable so I recommend downloading one from each server if you can.

This post is for an Unknown visitor that requested the Be-Bop Deluxe be the next Quadraphonic show to be uploaded. Here you go my friend, and everyone else too of course!
