justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to adjust some volume issues and smooth out some transitions between tracks. The DVD audio was lossy so the waves were encoded to MP3 320kbps with Trader's Little Helper. Some sources are a little muddy but the whole recording is an enjoyable listen from beginning to end.

I just finished this one recently hope everyone enjoys it!

Two great bands in one sweet sounding Pre-FM package. The retro Rock & Roll of The Smithereens and the southern fried Fabulous Thunderbirds. Draftervoi did a great job with the encoding this one. The classic commercials have been left but are chaptered so if you don't want to play them you don't have to. I know I say this a lot ... But if you don't have this show in your collection you  really should!!

I actually have meet Kim Wilson, I am a mechanic and he brought his car to my shop for some routine maintenance and when I went to ring up his sale he handed me a credit card that said Kim Wilson The Fabulous Thunderbirds. I confessed I had recognized him but didn't want to draw attention to him while he waited for his car to be finished. He thanked me for that and we chatted for a while. Turns out he lives in my town and became a regular customer. He had moved here to Michigan after meeting a local girl at Pine Knob Music Theatre and soon after married her. He's been a Michigan resident since.
