This show had a lot of sector boundary errors when I recieved it. I decoded the files then fixed the errors with Trader's Little Helper, re-encoding the files to flac level6. This show is Garth's only live performance in the year 1995. The year had been spent recording his sixth studio release Fresh Horses.

The 2 Mountain View Amphitheater shows were the 1st outdoor shows of Bruce Springsteen's Tunnel Of Love Tour. This particular show is also the longest show of the North American leg the tour. That's not the only history maker from this set either. "Little Latin Lupe Lu" makes it's return to the set after not being performed since 1977. "Twist And Shout" makes it's return to the set after not being performed since 1988. You also get the soundcheck performances of "I'm So Lonesome I could Cry" and "Crying". I would say if you are a Springsteen fan, you need this one for your collection. The flac files tested lossy so I am only posting this one in MP3 320kbps.

Even though it's only in MP3 since Bruce loves to play Ben Hur style shows I had to separate the files into 2 sets. Both sets can be opened separately

All right for this weeks Jazz For Sunday Morning, we have a great show from the Legendary Herbie Hancock. I have been listening to this for the past few days and I love it. Herbie and band are in excellent form. An added bonus, Herbie picked former Frank Zappa drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. Vinnie played on like 15 of Frank Zappa's records if my memory is correct. I know he's on 3 of my favorite Frank Zappa albums, Joe's Garage, Shut Up 'n Play Your Guitar, and Guitar.

justdave's  notes
Tracks 08-10 are from a 1977 FM broadcast recording. I haven't determined which one yet. The flac files actually tested lossy (MP3 based) so I converted them to MP3 320kbps. It's a nice sounding recording from Meat Loaf's 1993 tour of North America. Meat Loaf died January 27, 2022 no cause of death was given but TMZ reported that it was possible covid-19 complications since Meat Loaf had been sick with covid-19 early in January. The world lost one of the best vocalists and front man that the 1970's had. For proof, listen to Ted Nugent's Free For All album. Meat Loaf makes that album, and I am a major Derek St. Holmes freak. By the way, Pat Thrall is playing lead guitar, awesome!

justdave's notes:
I used Goldwave to convert the MPEG4 to a Wave 16bit/44,1khz. I then used Goldwave to edit the tracks. No noise reduction, EQ, or remastering was done to the recording. The video had lossy audio so it was encoded to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper. I edited the show as it was broadcast, a continuous 5 hour broadcast. If you want to burn CDs you will have to find the right spots to edit your CD1, CD2 etc.

Taylor Hawkins, drummer for The Foo Fighters, died March 25, 2022. Early toxicology reports suggest that a drug overdose may be the cause, but no official ruling has been made as of this date. The band was scheduled to play the Estéreo Picnic Festival in Bogotá, Colombia but had to cancel. The stage was turned into a candle light vigil.

This recording is from show 1 of 2 shows planned to honor Taylor. The 2nd was on September 27 in Los Angeles, California. It's a great show with a lot of different performers, some legendary, some not quite there but on their way. Check out Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age/Kyuss/Them Crooked Vultures fame singing David Bowie's "Let's Dance" and Sir Elton John's "Good-bye Yellow Brick Road" and nail it! Chevy Metal & Ke$ha deliver a great version of T. Rex's "Children Of The Revolution". Brian Johnson & Lars Ulrich jam out some AC/DC classics. Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson using 2 different drummers to pull off some Rush tracks. Sir Paul McCartney steps up with Chrisse Hynde and deliver some Beatles while Brian May and Roger Taylor give us a bit of Queen.

I hope everyone enjoys this, it took a lot of work to get it together. Not sure if there are any other audio rips of this show out yet. T.U.B.E. offers the MPEG4 that I made the audio rip from, it's actually where I downloaded it. It's kind of a big file set, so It has been separated into 2 parts which can be opened separately.
