Rosebud & I were so excited when we took this picture. The little guy with the dark markings is Chewie. He is our 4 year old and Rosebud's best friend. You may remember I lost my ferret Bear-Bear a few months back. He was my emotional support animal (going through cancer can suck) and service animal (he was trained to know if I was going to have a sugar attack). Well we obtained another baby a while back and put him in quarantine until he was old enough to be in the cage with Chewie. His name is Trouble, and yes he lives up to it. He ate a hole in his bed the 1st night. I have sections of my carpet I have to replace because of his tunneling. Don't get me started on the couch. He hasn't been doing to good on the sugar attack thing but he's become my constant companion. The Great News is that Trouble has moved into the big cage with Chewie and Chewie has accepted him! He has become a Papa raising a kit. It is always iffy when a ferret loses a cage mate. They can get so depressed they will starve themselves. Chewie had a rough time at first but has really come to love his new friend Trouble.
We also have new music to offer. The Rollins Band, Faith No More, Devo, make another appearance with new (for us) stuff. Making a New JDP Debut is The Doug Riley B-3 Quartet for all our Jazz Fans.
On the health front I just had my latest biopsy on my prostate to check the progression of my cancer. I should have the results in about 7 days. Remember when you have your annual physical exam make sure to include a prostate exam. Regular check-ups with the same Doctor is the best way for early detection. Early detection is the best way to ensure you have a better survival rate. Just ask your Doctor if you should add a prostate exam to your physical....
