This is a Remastered and Lossless version of a show we had previously posted in MP4 vbr, so this is a major upgrade for all that downloaded that particular Sly & Robbie Meets Nils Petter Molvær show. If you been around this blog a while you know that I love Nils Petter Molvær's music. Combining Jazz and Electronic Music to spearhead the Future Jazz movement. Other Jazz musicians that helped to pioneer and refine Future Jazz were Dave Douglas & Arild Anderson. All of course personal favorites of mine, each with there own take on the genre. Sly And Robby are a Jazz/Hip-Hop Electronic musicians who when joined with the Nils Petter Molvær Trio make pure magic on stage. The band uses their recorded songs as a blue print to venture of into fresh improvised destinations.
