That's right it's The Melvins, yes it's an FM broadcast recording promoting the Stag album. My exposure to The Melvins came through the Grunge scene of the 1990's. The name kept coming up in interviews so I had to check them out. No regrets. My first live experience was when they took the main stage at Ozzfest. They of course went over with mixed reactions from the younger Nu-Metal fans and a lot of the older Sabbath/Ozzy fans too. Some stood there confused, some went for beer, some like me screamed along to the songs, while others looked at us more confused at our reaction than the band themselves. When Buzz Osborne joined Tool during their set for an extended jam, the crowd was a little more acceptable to Buzz's guitar playing.
