I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to edit track marks. No EQ or noise reduction used. No remixing or remastering done. The DVD had lossy audio so I encoded the waves to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper.

I moved the interview from the beginning to the end of the show. That way if you don't want to listen to it you do not have to.

My son Spider picks my Avenged Sevenfold bootlegs for me. If he doesn't approve it I don't post it. He introduced me to the band some time ago when The Rev was still alive. He was Facebook friends with The Rev and A7X because of his job at The Palace Of Auburn Hills. Spider is a drummer and was influenced by The Rev's playing. He feels pretty lucky to know as he says "...some of my heroes are real nice guys.."

The newest of my Avenged Sevenfold bootlegs is a soundboard DVD audio of the bands 2013 Rock Am Ring performance. A7X have appeared at the festival a few times now and have become quite the crowd favorite. At times the audience is singing along louder than M. Shadows. A great performance that includes a their latest single "Hail To The King" and the track "Burn It Down" which doesn't get played often. So all A7X fans download this one or your collection is not complete.

Avenged Sevenfold is another full circle band for me. This time my oldest son who I turned on to Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Cannibal Corpse turned me on to Avenged Sevenfold. The band gets lumped in with the Screamo Metalcore genre, which is why I avoided them like the plague until my son played them for me. A7X is a much more progressive affair than the Metalcore tag eludes to. They blend Thrash, Hardcore, Country, Traditional Hard Rock, Vaudeville and more on their albums. Live the band is a mosh pit inducing metal machine always delivering the goods. The band won the award for "Best Live Band" and "Most Dedicated Fans" at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in 2012.

Founding member drummer James "The Rev" Sullivan passed during the writing recording process of the Nightmare album, the recording was finished with Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater who actually toured with the band as well. The Rev sang on a few of the bands tracks, small lead parts here and there. These vocal parts are represented live by The Rev's taped vocals, much to fans delight.

The broadcast mix was a little off, the bass is really dominant while the guitars are pretty thin and low in the mix. However the show is a very enjoyable listen, especially to those fans that wanted a soundboard recording with Mike Portnoy on the drums.
