Great stuff! Bob Seger & Jason Aldean dueting on 8 tracks and chatting in between. This thing is worth the down load just for the guys duet on "Turn The Page"! I can't be more happy about the way the audio turned out here. CMT edited in clipps of future songs right before interviews and some songs as well. These were distracting to the listening experience so I edited these out to make things flow better. Don't miss this one Bob Seger fans I think this might be the first broadcast or soundboard source to surface from Bob Seger's latest comeback. I'm not sure though.

Herbie Hancock's trio of albums released between 1971-1973 were released in what was called his Mwandishi Period and the band is often referred to as Mwandish. It is a Swahili name Herbie sometimes used during this era. The music is Experimental Jazz with lots of improvisation on a theme. The performance here is a 56 minute version of a song that ran 24 minutes on the studio album. Herbie moved on to the more Funk Jazz of The Headhunters era because he felt not enough people understood avant-garde music. All my fellow Jazz fans don't miss this one!

I've included the cue sheets and a scan of the record label. Side Two had a couple o' thousand little tiny clicks on it, but I spent many an hour taking 'em out, one click at a time in Audacity. Most of this material was released in studio form on the Glorified Magnified, Messin' & Solar Fire albums, and if you like this, you should go buy those albums...if you don't have them yet. The version of "The Mighty Quinn" is VERY different from the original hit single version. This one is a Prog-Rock version of that song, about eight minutes long.

Ok I downloaded this without hearing the band first because here is a Jazz trio combined of piano, percussion, and contrebasse playing cover songs from of all bands Coldplay, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, New Order, and Depeche Mode. Curiosity got to me and I had to hear it. I was not disapointed, the recording is a very nice sounding FM broadcast recording and the performance is fabulous. The trio make the cover songs their own, elaborating on he melodies here and there.

I downloaded this from a blog I have gotten a lot of Jazz bootlegs from Jazz Boot Experiment. If you download Jazz bootlegs occasionally from me you should check them out. Lot's of variety and the site was just revamped with a new look and all the dead links have been cleaned out.
