Tom Johnston is most likely not on this recording having missed most of the 1975 tour due to health problems, culminating in a hospitalization for bleeding ulcers. Michael McDonald was hired to help out at, Jeff Baxter's suggestion. Simmons, Knudsen, Porter and McDonald divided up Tom's vocal parts and Simmons and Baxter shared lead guitar duties. In fact due to Michael McDonald singing "Long Train Running" I do believe this is a Tom free show.
Usually circulates with the wrong date of 10-31-1975 at The Showboat but the correct date is 10-08-1975 Mid-South Coliseum.
