A very good sounding recording from the 2023 Leverkusener Jazztage. The legendary John Scofield brings his Trio and his music to the legendary Jazz Festival in Germany. No selling should be needed for my Jazz loving friends to be sold on this one...it should have you at John Scofield!!!!

A little bit of a rarity here, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal band Rock Goddess. Along with Girlschool, Rock Goddess represented the Hard Rocking Ladies of the 1980's. Their somewhat more commercial sound should have given Rock Godess a slight one up on Girlschool. While neither band gained any real traction in the states Girlschool was a little more well known. They were also given a bit more Metal Cred since Girlschool was not quite as attractive as the women of Rock Goddess who were seen as a label cash in by my fellow US Metal Heads. This is a nice sounding show and is an excellent view to how hard Rock Goddess could Rock.

Another great performance from the once again reformed Hellacopters. This Swedish Garage Rock band is one of my all time favorites. Nicke Andersson has been in a few of my favorite bands starting with the very influential Death Metal band Entombed to the Garage Rock of Imperial State Electric. You can't go wrong with this show in your collection.

This is the nicest sounding of my Saga broadcast recordings. Whoever authored the DVD it was ripped from did a really great job. The performance is top notch, the band sounding very well rehearsed. I have read some reviews of this show as being a little boring. Saga is considered to be a Pomp-Prog band, most Prog-Rock bands are a bit visually boring on stage but the performance is not boring to fans. If you were to tell me that Yes are exciting performers I would say you never saw them. If you said Yes are great live musicians I would agree. So this is for my fellow Saga fans, it's a great performance!
