After I ripped the waves I only used Goldwave to adjust a couple track marks. No noise reduction, EQing, re-mixing or re-mastering was done.
As someone who didn't know too much about Days Of The New, I had to search a little for the info on this show. The person who supplied me with the disc only wrote the name of the band and FM on the disc. The date given was MA-07.18.98, which was how the songs were tagged on the CD. The set list and location information comes from www.setlist.fm. The line-up information comes from wikipedia.
Not sure why I haven't posted this on the blog yet. I actually thought I had, surprised it hasn't shown up on any blogs yet either since I posted it at the Trader's Den a while ago. I received this with a bunch of CDs and CD-rs from our friend Randy. Randy sent quite a few shows FMs & Pre-FMs that are already on the blog. This is a great sounding recording and you don't see a lot of Days Of The New boots either.
This line-up only release one album, they broke up after the tour for that album. Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Matt Taul went on to form Tantric. Travis Meeks formed another line-up of Days Of The New releasing 2 more studio albums. The band's line-up was very fluid after the initial break up. The former band member list is only eclipsed by Parliament/Funkadelic.
