I ripped the waves using DVD Audio Extractor. I then use Goldwave to add a fade in/fade out at the beginning and end respectively. No EQ or Noise Reduction was used. No remixing or remastering done. Even though the DVD had a LPCM audio option the source used for making the DVD was lossy so the waves tested 95% MPEG. So the waves were encoded to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper.
Killswitch Engage is another band from the New Wave Of American Metal Bands. The NWOAHM bands were a wave of American bands that surfaced around the same time after the wave of American Neo-Metal or Rap Metal bands. The NWOAM bands returned to the sound of Thrash Metal bands with a touch more Hardcore and influences from the Melodic Death Metal scene especially from At The Gates. If you listen to the first albums from most of those bands they are packed with At The Gates riffs as much as 2nd wave Thrash Metal bands lifted Metallica riffs. Killswitch Engage is one of my son Spider's favorite bands because they mix in a bit more melody than most from that scene.
