Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister passed away December 28, 2015 after being diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer on December 26, 2015. Lemmy had just celebrated his 70th birthday on December 24, 2015. Lemmy & Motörhead were one of the biggest influences on Modern Heavy Metal. If there had been no Motörhead there very well may have never been a Metallica, Anthrax, or Slayer. Granted there were other influences in the pool but the common denominator was Motörhead.

My first experience with Motörhead came in the very early 1980's. I had purchased an LP called Live & Heavy which had several bands on it (one live track each) including Motörhead, Gillan, Rainbow, Def Leppard, Status Quo, UFO and others. The Motörhead recording was "White Line Fever" from the What's Words Worth live recording. I had never heard such Metalic sounding Punk Rock or was it Punky sounding Heavy Metal or a hybrid of the 2. Motörhead brought the 2 worlds together like no other band. Punks and Metal Heads were at Motörhead shows together and out of the Pogo, Mosh Pits were born.

Rest In Peace Lemmy!!

When I received this the commercials had already been deleted, but the tracks had not been indexed. The show was in 4 files. I decoded the files with Traders Little Helper and used Goldwave v5.04 to index the tracks. I then re-encoded the files to flac level 8 with Traders Little Helper. No show number was given on the cue sheet just King Biscuit Flower Hour 2/18-24/91, the broadcast date.

justdave notes:
I raised the volume on the tracks, no noise reduction or remixing was done. I also removed the interview segments. The show has been edited to run like it was broadcast with no breaks for a CD1 & CD2 set. It will not fit onto a single CD-r, so if you want to burn an audio CD-r you will have to choose a spot for your CD break.
