I just finished this DVD audio rip recently. It's a pretty good sounding recording. I did have to lower the volume slightly because of some red lights but no other work was needed. I also added a fade in and fade out at the beginning and end respectively. The DVD had lossy audio so I encoded the resultant wave files to MP3 320kbps

justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to re-edit some track marks, adjust the volume, and add a fade in/fade out at the beginning and end of the recording. No noise reduction or EQ was used. I encoded the waves to MP3 320kbps because the DVD had lossy audio.

This is a pretty nice sounding recording of a fine performance from Chris Cornell during his solo period. Chris had released his 3rd solo album Scream, which was a collaboration with Pop Producer Timberland. The album was a departure from the music Chris was known for, with dance rhythms, and drum machines, it had a more R&B flavor to it. 6 of the 13 tracks performed here are from that album, the other solo track being "You Know My Name" from the Casino Royal Soundtrack. Chris does throw in some Soundgarden and Audioslave tracks, to please the fans, all in all a nice show.

I encoded the waves to MP3 320kbs because the DVD had lossy audio. "Gun" cuts in abruptly but I left it as is so no more music would be lost.

Nice recording from the Loud Love European Tour. The show comes not long after the death of Mother Love Bone frontman, Andrew Wood from a heroin overdose. Chris Cornell dedicates "Nothing To Say" to his fallen friend and urges the audience to buy his record. Cornell of course will go on to form Temple Of The Dog, with members of Soundgarden & Pearl Jam in tribute. This is a great performance from a hungry band on the cusp of their world breakthrough.

juastdave notes:
Removed all commercials and most voice overs.

This is a great show covering two separate times in Soundgarden's career. The first nine tracks come from 1989 when the world was just really becoming aware of Soundgarden. The remaining tracks come from when Soundgarden & Grunge were house hold names. Of major note is both the cover of The Beatles' "Come Together" and Black Sabbath's "Into The Void". Both songs are given the distinctive Soundgarden treatment.
