justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves using DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to edit track marks and clean up the beginning and the end of the recording. No EQ or Noise Reduction was used. No remixing or remastering was done. The DVD had AC3 MPEG 256kbps sound which is lossy. The waves were then converted to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper.
I first heard of Loudness when I read a review for their first live album in Cream Magazine. The review was more than good it was praising. The reviewer put Akira Takasaki in the Guitar God category, comparing him to one Edward Van Halen. He said the only drawback was that the band sang in Japanese. I didn't let that bother me so I ordered Live-Loud-Alive: Loudness in Tokyo from my local record store. When I got it I was more than pleased. Loudness never received the status in the US that they should have.
This show is short but well worth the listen!!!
