I got this from
Arizona Jones's's bootleg blog. This is the complete 2 day event. 2 of the biggest bands in rock at the time, in 2 very long shows. Lots of great jams.
The Grateful Dead shows have some audience patches,
The Allman Brothers Band shows are pure soundboard. I must confess I've never been a big Dead fan, I own 1 greatest hits collection and 2 live albums. My mom bought them for me for my birthday. She thought with a name like
Grateful Dead and all the skulls and roses it had to be metal. We were both surprised. I've been a fan of
The Allman Brothers Band since I first heard
"Whipping Post" on the radio when I was quite young. This collection of recordings shows the reason why these 2 groups have always packed their live shows. Each band showing how they can jam on a theme, and deliver a hook that will catch you and keep you entranced. Plus
Ronnie Montrose jumps on stage with
The Allman Brothers Band for
"Mountain Jam" on June 9th.
This is a large file set so I have divided the download into 3 parts, all 3 parts needed to unzip.
