- This Radio Show Series is basically a new item to The Collective Of Live Music. We have only just started to explore this short lived radio series. Sam Elliot's Mustache has informed me he has a couple of these shows in his collection that we will be getting to in time. Until I received this show I had never heard of Marry Me Jane or Soul Coughing. I was quite impressed by Marry Me Jane, their lead singer has an awesome voice. Soul Coughing I need to hear more of to make a decision. Of course Blues Traveler have always been a great live band their set is too short but when you're trying to showcase three bands on on CD you have to make concessions.

I don't have a lot of music by these guys but do really love their unique style and sound. A friend of mine who is a big fan turned me on to them many years ago. I have attended a couple Blues Traveler shows with him and really enjoyed the performance. This really good sounding recording is a nice representation of what Blues Traveler is all about live. Original bassist Bobby Sheehan died August 20, 1999 from an accidental overdose of heroin, cocaine and Valium.
