Draftervoi's notes:
This version digitized and uploaded to the web by Hans Devente as a single flac file in 2014.  I chaptered the songs, normalized the levels, and removed a small amount of radio static.

Note:  Hans uses the date convention of M/D/YYYY pm his cassette case, I use the ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD format.

justdave notes:
This is a Hans De Vente tape that has been edited by justdave. The recording was originally encoded to 2 long files, one per tape side. I decoded the files with Traders Little Helper, then edited the individual tracks with GoldWave v.5.04. There was a drop out in the very beginning of "Across The River" that I fixed. Also a tape flip occurred at the 3 minutes 51 second mark of "Family Snapshot" that I spliced. Other than that I didn't alter the recording with any EQ, noise reduction, or remastering.

original uploader notes:

I've tracked the commercials so that you can delete them if they're of no interest to you. These are flac files of waves, digitized directly from the 3-lp set, and manually declicked one click at a time in Audacity. I've included scans of the box, a record label, the cue sheet, and affidavit. There are a couple of celebrity commercials in there, Whitney Houston and also Manhattan TransferMinute Maid Orange Soda is no longer manufactured.

Tracks from this concert were broadcast several times by Westwood One. Show #89-13 has the same set list but with Shoot The Moon in the place of Riptide. Show #90-07 restores Riptide and drops Shoot The Moon...Show #04-28 is a shorter, one hour show, drawn from the same source with the tracks in a different order. There may be more, my list is not complete.

Right now, Palmer's late 70s and 80s output is in print on CD over at Culture Factory, in limited edition mini-lp format. My understanding is they have a print run of about 3,000 copies, so if you like this, hie thee over there and get 'em before you have to pay silly-money on Ebay.

Note:
There is a 1/2 second long vinyl defect in track 10 Every Kind Of People that could not be fixed. It wasn't a skip or debris embedded in the grooves, it was a pressing defect. I flattened the volume on the KRRRRSSSSS noise that was there to make it less annoying.

justdave note:

Although I didn't get this one directly from him or his site I do beleive this encoding is a Draftervoi product. It has all his signature touches to it.

Great sounding recording from Kansas' tour to promote Leftoverture, an album that peaked at #5 on the US Album Charts and went quadruple platinum. The PRRP people did a fine job putting this one together. They not only remastered a Pre-FM source for the Kansas show, they also included a radio interview with Kansas about the show (this was from an alternate source). Also from an alternate source is a recording of the nights opening act Ambrosia.

I got a feeling this one is going to be popular. Alvin Lee & Mick Taylor together jamming, what more should I say other than that. This boot is Air Guitar Heaven trust me.

from the liner notes:
Alvin Lee and Mick Taylor only toured together one time in 1981, for late October through early Dec. They started out in Europe and then played some shows in the U.S.A. very few recordings of this rock royalty pairing exist. The Firenze Show is perhaps the best soundboard of the tour.  Mick Taylor plays rhythm and lead guitar on the full show.  Alvin Lee has never let any other guitarist do full shows with him.  Only someone as great as Mick Taylor, who is a long time friend of Alvin Lee, would get the call from Alvin to tour for two months of shows.

A great bootleg from Zakk's promotional tour for his first solo release Book Of Shadows. Book Of Shadows was a mostly acoustic album of Southern Rock and Folk Rock. The recordings on this disc are from an on air radio appearance which was an interview and acoustic solo performance, and from a live gig at The Paradisio. After this Zakk would form Black Label Society after feeling the influence of the NOLA Sludge Metal scene.

The newest of my Avenged Sevenfold bootlegs is a soundboard DVD audio of the bands 2013 Rock Am Ring performance. A7X have appeared at the festival a few times now and have become quite the crowd favorite. At times the audience is singing along louder than M. Shadows. A great performance that includes a their latest single "Hail To The King" and the track "Burn It Down" which doesn't get played often. So all A7X fans download this one or your collection is not complete.
