I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to adjust the volume and re-edit some track marks. The waves were then encoded to MP3 320kbps because the DVD audio was lossy.

This show is a fun listen, Lionel Richie & Kenny Rogers have been friends for a long time and are really enjoying themselves. At the start of the show Kenny messes up by taking the first verse of the second song when Lionel is supposed to. They stop rip on each other a couple times then start over for a great rendition of  "She Believes In Me". The interview and rehearsal segments give a glimpse of how much fun the two had getting ready for this show.

A nice recording from the legendary Commodores. Granted it's after Lionel Richie had steered them towards Pop Music stardom, but they do play some of the early Funk classics as well. Those Funk classics come in the form of a medley, made up of the first 5 tracks. This is the only soundboard recording I have yet of The Commodores, but I'm always looking for more. But I do highly recommend this bootleg to fans of 1970's - 1980's Soul/Funk.

Graham Central Station was formed by Larry Graham and Neil Schon, the original band name was Azteca. The band fused the Funk sounds Larry Graham was famous for, and the Latin Rhythms Schon loved playing in Santana. When Schon left to form Journey, Larry changed the name to Graham Central Station. "Show & Tell" was a No. 1 hit for Al Wilson, as was "Rock The Boat" for Hues Corporation. The Commodores only reached No. 24 with their first hit "Machine Gun". Kool & The Gang hit No. 6 on the Hot 100 with "Hollywood Swingin'", and No. 1 on the R&B Charts. "Jungle Boogie" hit No. 4 on the Hot 100 while hitting No. 2 on the R&B Charts.
