The last Linda May Han Oh Quintet featuring Chris Potter post I made was March 5 2018. It has been so popular that it is still active even after my Filefactory Pro account was cancelled for 2 years. It can be found here.  I figured maybe a little more then. This was downloaded from BigO a really good site for all types of artists boots in MP3 format unfortunately no longer running.

Number 2 of this weeks Sunday Morning Jazz offerings comes from 2 players who are no strangers to The New JDP. Both have been featured with their own groups, this time Joe Lovano & Dave Douglas join forces to bring you an hour and a half of some great Jazz, that's not quite as experimental as one might expect from these two. I will be making a big error if I do not mention the awesome bass playing of Linda May Han Oh Awesome stuff and a must have for all my fellow Jazz fans.

Linda May Han Oh has been featured here before. We already have 3 great performances of hers on the site (here). We have her leading a Quartet and a Quintet featuring Joe Lovano. She also is featured in a performance from Joe Lovano & Dave Douglas' Sound Prints Quartet. This show has her leading her Quintet through 4 songs before a String Quartet joins in for the rest of the show. The sound of the strings compliment Linda's great arraignments. Jazz fans should watch for more great things from this talented bass player! For shows from Joe Lovano click here. For shows from Dave Douglas click here.
