Jazz Legend Larry Coryell passed away from natural causes February 19, 2017, at the age of 73. Larry Coryell was considered to be the “Godfather of Fusion”. His guitar work inspired many Jazz Musicians. Larry not only released 60 solo albums in his lifetime but has collaborated with Miles Davis, Gary Burton, Alphonse Mouzon, Ron Carter and Chet Baker. Larry was also a founding member of  The Eleventh House, a Legendary Jazz Fusion outfit. Larry Coryell was actually planing a 2017 concert tour with The Eleventh House at the time of his passing.

I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to re-edit some track marks and adjust the volume. No EQ or noise redction was used. I seperated the interviews from the songs. There are some small flaws in this recording. The first track "Stop" starts a little abruptly. The transition from "Stop" to "Walk Away" is slightly ruff. The volume would fluctuate I did my best to even it out some. All in all this is not a bad listen, and a nice example at what The James Gang sounded like in 1971.
