Set list on cover art is not the same as given by uploader. Art was downloaded from Disc Japan. This recording has already been pulled from The Trader's Den (for no fingerprint files included). The uploader listed 17 tracks in the track list but there was only 16 files. The 16th file was actually a Stevie Ray Vaughan acoustic performance. I have left this track out of the fileset since it is not Johnny Thunders. I also renamed the files since the track list was wrong. I did my best to identify all of the tracks correctly. Johnny really rambles on a lot during this performance.

My guitar player in Psychosis was the one that really got me into the Dolls. He had a lot of New York Dolls vinyl including bootlegs. We had these tapes we would play over the PA in between bands. Between 1985 & 1989 when you heard "Personality Crisis" all band members and stage roadies were to be back stage. After that song our sound man would start our intro tape. We used 2 different songs for an intro, both from Leon Russell. "Carney" or "Acid Annapolis" depending on which was pre-chosen. But it was always New York Dolls for the 5 minute warning.

Great sounding recording from Johnny Thunders' acoustic performance to promote his newest release, an album of covers called Copycat. Punk icon Johnny Thunders had been a founding member of The New York Dolls. When the Dolls broke up Thunders performed as a solo artist and as part of the group The Heartbreakers. Johnny Thunders was the epitome of punk rock, and walked it the way he talked it. Thunders became a rock and roll tragedy in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 23, 1991 at the age of 39. Although it is reported that Thunders died a drug related death it is also speculated he met foul play. The coroner report states the amount of drugs in his body was not fatal. Witnesses say Thunders hadn't used heroin for some time, relying on his methadone prescription (Thunders had advanced stage leukemia which is why even though he had not used heroin his health visibly declined). Thunders body was found twisted like a pretzel under a coffee table, his room ransacked, his passport, clothes and other items were missing. The police have refused to investigate the foul play angle, insisting it was just another junkie who came to the city and died.
