The Santana story comes full circle in Mountain View California, as Carlos calls in some old friends to celebrate 20 years of Santana music. Former members meld with the 1986 line-up to perform songs from the bands rich back catalog. If you are any kind of Santana fan I highly recommend this show for your collection. The final jam session that is CD3 is worth the download alone, yet CD's 1 & 2 are comprised of performances from the 1986 line-up that almost seems like a statement to the former members that this is Santana now. All most 3 hours of music, with a line-up that includes Buddy Miles, Michael Shrieve, Gregg Rolie, Neil Schon, Alexander J. Ligertwood, and Carlos Santana!

Black Sabbath on tour to promote the Forbidden album. Forbidden was the last release to feature vocalist Tony Martin. The album was produced by Body Count guitarist Ernie C and featured a guest performance by Ice-T on "The Illusion of Power" performing a spoken word voice over. The album was actually a rushed affair, with the band not actually rehearsing before recording, and suffered from rumors of he original line-up of Black Sabbath reuniting. This culminated in poor sales of the album and concert tickets. Cozy Powell started the tour but pulled out a few months into it citing health issues. Bobby Rondinelli was chosen to fill in the rest of the dates.

Primus on tour to promote the Brown Album. The audience is as diverse as the Primus sound, hippies, metal heads and business men in suits all fill the crowd for this performance. Les Claypool's influences run the gamut from King Crimson to The Isley Brothers which of course is reflected in the music. Les Claypool first came to the attention of the metal world as the striped pajama wearing bass player of Progressive Thrash Metal band Blind Illusion. Blind Illusion released 3 demo tapes in including one, Slow Death that was produced by Kirk Hammett of Metallica fame. Les later auditioned for Metallica's bass player position after the death of Cliff Burton. Legend has it Metallica said that Les was too good for them.
