Fields Of The Nephilim was the first Gothic Rock band a Heavy Metal Head would say if you asked him to name one. Now it's Type O Negative or Fields Of The Nephilim (most Metal Heads kind of avoid the Goth music scene). The music of course was stylistically very different. This soundboard recording features the original line up of Fields on tour promoting their 2nd release album The Nephilim. 8 of the albums 9 tracks are presented in a 14 track set. The band is firing on all cylinders here. 3 years later the original line-up of the band would break up. Carl McCoy would later resurrect the name in 2000, releasing a new single. Not one original member was in the band for the album the came shortly after. Original bassist Tony Pettitt has had an in and out and in and out relationship with the new Fields Of The Nephilim line up.
