Recording Notes:
- There is a locked groove test tone at the beginning of Side A for radio stations to set output levels before broadcast. Not included in this encoding.
- There are 2 locked groove show promos at the end of Side A. I moved them to the end of the show.
Editing Notes:
- Records hand cleaned with Record Research Lab Super Record Wash before playback.
- LP cleaned with the HumminGuru Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaning System prior to playback.
- A Zerostat Positive Ion gun was used on LP prior to playback.
- Raw transfer: EQ off, treble and bass levels set at +/- zero for most accurate sound of LP.
- Preservation being key the show is encoded complete with commercials, and voiceovers.
- All editing done in 24bit/96khz
- Declicked manualy and some noise reduction used depending on what best served situation.

- Aldo Nova was on tour to promote his debut album Aldo Nova.
- The songs "Cry Baby Cry" and "War Suite (Instrumental)" were unreleased until Aldo Nova's 2nd album Subject Aldo Nova.
- The Aldo Nova portion of the show was broadcast previously as King Biscuit Flower Hour 5/30/82 Aldo Nova / George Thorogood & The Destroyers.
- The first broadcast of Aldo Nova's set also had the song "Heart To Heart"
- Prism was on tour to promote their 5th studio album Small Change their best commercial success.
- This show Prism opened for Loverboy. Both bands were recorded that day for King Biscuit Flower Hour.
- The Prism portion of this show was broadcast before as Prism / Ian Hunter King Biscuit Flower Hour KB 420 broadcast May 23, 1982. Prism's complete set from Wings Stadium including the encore was broadcast.
- Small Change spawned 2 singles. "Don't Let Him Know" which hit #1 on US Billboard Mainstream Tracks. "Turn On Your Radar" was the follow up single peaking only at #64.
- Famous early members of Prism are: Early Drummer Jim Vallance went on to write many hit songs with Bryan Adams. Early Sax Player Bruce Fairbairn went on to become a successful producer who worked with such bands as Aerosmith, Kiss, and Bon Jovi. He also played trumpet on the Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation as part of The Marguerita Horns. Rhythm guitarist/bassist Tom Lavin also produced albums by Powder Blues, and April Wine.
