JustDave's Notes:
- Thank you to my fellow members of The Collective Of Live Music.
- Thank you to Danibus for letting me copy his cassette of this show.
- Thank you WWWW-FM Detroit and your staff for being a big part of my teenage years and for programing and promoting Homegrown Michigan Rock & Roll.

Known Faults:
- The original recording was made on a red labeled Kmart 90 minute cassette tape on a Kmart stereo system cassette recorder with non-adjustable recording levels and no dolby settings.
- Tape does show some age and limitations of the original tape recorder.
- There is some sound phasing and drop outs in spots from the original cassette.

Recording Notes:
- This concert was broadcast on WWWW-FM Detroit's Homegrown Show that featured Michigan bands studio recordings and live concerts.
- Tape was amongst a large group of tapes in a box in my basement some with no labels, cases or j-cards that I rediscovered after a large move.

Editing Notes:
- Recording and editing done in 24bit/96khz.
- I created fades at the beginning and ending of the show.
- No noise reduction, EQ or sound tampering was done tape was encoded warts and all other than above stated fades.

Other Notes:
- This is a very early show for the Romantics, their first LP hadn't been released yet, just the single "Tell It To Carrie".
- The single was first released on The W4 Homegrown Show LP, an album released by the radio station to promote it's local music program.
- WWWW, or W4 as we Detroiters called it, was one of 3 FM Album Rock stations in Detroit. WRIF, WABX, & WWWW. WLLZ would come later.
- W4 was the radio station in the movie Private Parts, where Howard Stern was known as Hopalong Howie. That was after the station had went country
- W4 also was one of the first radio stations in the country to broadcast in quadraphonic.
- The Michigan Punk/New Wave scene would explode with talent around this time, The Romantics were a spark of that explosion.
- "Running Away", "She Knows Me", and "Comin' Back Home" have not been released.
