JustDave's Notes:
After downloading I decoded the flac, converted the wave to stereo, raised the volume, then indexed the tracks all with Goldwave v6.83.
This uncirculated Squeeze concert comes from a large drop of concerts from The Capitol Theatre, Port Chester, NY at Guitars101. The poster's name I can not remember because the posts disappeared pretty quick but they were dropped under the title of You Did Not Get This From Me. This is a very clear recording leading me to believe it is from a digital soundboard. The shows were uploaded as untracked single files and were mono. I resampled this one as "stereo" with Goldwave, indexed the tracks and raised the volume. I didn't do anything else than that. Squeeze Fans Need This In There Collections!!! This is a great show and was from the day before a Livestream Broadcast on YouTube of the Capitol show on the 30th.

Thanks so much Dave! I had downloaded this one from the big Capitol Theatre soundboard dump and hadn't had a chance to split it up into separate tracks yet. This also reminds me that I still need to master my recording of Squeeze from their Vegas show last spring; I also found and downloaded someone else's source of that show and need to compare the relative qualities. Either way, I owe you a show!
ReplyDeleteThe difference will probably be that mine is in "stereo" while others will still be mono and I raised the volume. I didn't do any EQ or anything else. Any of the ones I post will just have that done. So most likely the differences will be undetectable. That Squeeze in Vegas would be great when you get to it.

Please post your Vegas show
DeleteSorry that I'm so very behind in mastering my boots. I've been working on finishing two books for publishing on amazon; the second in my science fiction series, Tentacle Travels, and a children's book. After these are out, I should have more time for music! But feel free to remind me from time to time... lol
DeleteGman no worries! I know what it's like to have a few irons in the fire at once. I look forward to reading your book, the title seems like something I would read. I won't rush you.....but get to work my man! Hahahahah...

@Just Dave - thanks again for offering to split the shows I gave you! Much appreciated! I'll be gone on vacation until May 17 but here's one last share before I leave - this is the BB KIng show from the Capitol SBD dump - in FLAC and split into tracks by someone at G101. Enjoy! https://transfer.it/t/gBMCJvhBWJRQ
ReplyDeleteAnytime my friend, anytime! Have a nice vacation!

Great work! Thank you! I believe there were 3 posts on Guitars 101 with huge "mega-dump"s of music. Actively seeking them all out, I have 1 set of links. Fingers crossed I can get the rest.
ReplyDeleteex_mixer email me at nosferritu@gmail.com. You're welcome for the Squeeze show. I think I have the whole dump except for the Bob Dylan show which from what I understand no one was able to download.
