I love the genre of Death Metal, everything about it, the aggression in the music, the heavy vocals down to the lyrics. Musical Horror movies if you ask me. Some people though can't get past the gore or the Satanism. I have news, Mortification is a Death Metal band that writes lyrics from a Pro-Christian viewpoint. Main songwriter and only constant member Steve Rowe beat the Christian Metal drum from 1987 til the end of Mortification's recording career in 2017. This while battling and beating acute lymphatic leukemia from 1996 to 1998. The band has done some reunion tours since but no new music has come from it.
