What a show!! Two sets of some of the best Jazz has to offer! The Horace Silver Quintet delivers an hour and a half of music in 5 songs. Lots of soloing and jamming on a theme here! Horace Silver is an awesome piano player, song writer, and band leader. Horace has always been able to surround himself with some of the finest players in Jazz. I'm glad I started my Sunday Morning Jazz Session with this show. It was the perfect soundtrack to watching the deer in my back yard eating pine needles off my trees, while I'm sipping on a nice cup of freshly ground French Roast Coffee (which I'm not sure if French even drink this nice dark roast, a name is a name). One of the deer came up and looked right in my living room window last night. It's my little Heaven on Earth...

You are a peach of a man -- especially with these Sunday Morning Jazz boots. Thank you SIR!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!. Sorry the Jazz has been coming a little slow lately. I'll try to make it more regular again.

Hi Dave, Hope you’re doing ok. Might you have any Luther Allison tucked away there? Thanks for looking.
