  1. Looks good, JDP! This show has a Genesis and Zappa connection. I never knew what Darryl Stuermer did before taking over for Hackett. Thank ya kindly, my friend!

    1. You know Jim I didn't even make that association. Darryl's name didn't even ring a bell. Thank you for that piece of trivia. I'll have to use that somehow in the future. Cheers!

    2. great show, thanks Dave!
drummer mark craney came to my attention as the when he replaced barrimore barlow in tull after the classic lineup disbanded. he played on 'A' and was fantastic on that, his only tour with the group.

    3. Hey MikeL, I didn't make that connection. I was a big fan of the A album and tour. Was my first Tull concert when they played the Detroit are on the tour. Been a live Tull fan since.

  2. Thank you so much for this! And with Darryl Stuermer, no less. The Genesis connection was not lost on me but I completely missed the Tull 'A' connection... I love that album but didn't get to see the tour. The best I could do is collect all of the bootlegs of that tour that I could find. Thanks again, G.

  3. JD---Cannot thank you enough for bringing back some unbelievable memories---I caught this lineup the very same year (with the exception of Steve Smith of Journey and Vital Information fame filling in for Mark Craney). Had a few beers and shot the breeze with the guys---and 24 years later made friends and worked with Daryl Stuermer...
