Heavy Metal Roots & Branches #19
justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to re-edit a couple track marks and raise the volume. No EQ or noise reduction was used. The DVD had lossy audio so I used Traders Little Helper to encode the waves to MP3 320kbps.

With the biggest band in Modern Heavy Metal (Metallica) releasing covers of 5 out of 7 songs on Diamond Head's debut album, the bands influence on Heavy Metal is beyond debate.
thanks, nice to see them still going, new singer is a bit like the original singer which is a bonus and interesting they have 2 guitarists now.
ReplyDeletehi there, not seen you much on here, everything ok?
ReplyDeleteNoice. Raz has a killer set of pipes, he does the song proud.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great performance too. Been a fan a Diamond Head since I bought an import copy of Lightning To The Nations at my local record shop. Glad you are all enjoying it.
