Normally bands pre-record their appearance on this radio program, but Tin Machine played live on the air glitches and all. This is evident when Hunt Sales has to grab for a new stick at the beginning of "Stateside". Nice clean and crisp recording, a must for David Bowie & Tin Machine collectors!
justdave's notes:
When I got this it had a lot of sector boundary errors. I decoded the flac files with Traders Little Helper, then re-encoded aligning all sector boundrys and packed it up for sharing I didn't remix, remaster or mess with the recording at all.

I thought I'd delve into your back catalog of Bowie and I'm glad I found this gem. Unlike many people, I really liked his participation in Tin Machine and thought it revitalized him after he's found a new audience with MTV. Thank you once again!

Whilst Tin Machine were in Sydney, recording at EMI Studios, the group surprised the bejeezes out of punters at a little known club on Sydney's nortern beaches, called Whale Beach Surf Club or RSL Club or Moby Dicks. Not sure of the name. On November 4, 1989, punters were treated to set from Fun in Acapulco, a local covers type band, and when they btook their first break, who should wander on stage but TIN mAchine. Thge secret had been let out earlier and a latge crowd was in the small venue, but an amount of punters were caught completely by surprise at Mr Bowie performing at tyheir local club. For more Google "David Bowie+Whale Beach RSL". Bowie loved Sydney so much he bought an apartment there and shot the video clips for Lets Dance & China Girl in Australia.
