I got a feeling this one is going to be popular. Alvin Lee & Mick Taylor together jamming, what more should I say other than that. This boot is Air Guitar Heaven trust me.

from the liner notes:
Alvin Lee and Mick Taylor only toured together one time in 1981, for late October through early Dec. They started out in Europe and then played some shows in the U.S.A. very few recordings of this rock royalty pairing exist. The Firenze Show is perhaps the best soundboard of the tour.  Mick Taylor plays rhythm and lead guitar on the full show.  Alvin Lee has never let any other guitarist do full shows with him.  Only someone as great as Mick Taylor, who is a long time friend of Alvin Lee, would get the call from Alvin to tour for two months of shows.

A great bootleg from Zakk's promotional tour for his first solo release Book Of Shadows. Book Of Shadows was a mostly acoustic album of Southern Rock and Folk Rock. The recordings on this disc are from an on air radio appearance which was an interview and acoustic solo performance, and from a live gig at The Paradisio. After this Zakk would form Black Label Society after feeling the influence of the NOLA Sludge Metal scene.

The newest of my Avenged Sevenfold bootlegs is a soundboard DVD audio of the bands 2013 Rock Am Ring performance. A7X have appeared at the festival a few times now and have become quite the crowd favorite. At times the audience is singing along louder than M. Shadows. A great performance that includes a their latest single "Hail To The King" and the track "Burn It Down" which doesn't get played often. So all A7X fans download this one or your collection is not complete.

Originally from Niagra Falls Ontario Canada, hence the name, Honeymoon Suite formed in 1981. The band went through the various line up changes any knew band does, till lead guitarist Derry Grehan joined and became the bands main songwriter. Grehan wrote the song "New Girl Now" which the band submitted to and won an unsigned band competition by Q107 FM. The band was signed to a label and re-recorded "New Girl Now" for it's debut LP. The single reached #57 in the US and #23 in Canada. The band continued on for 3 albums before the split of the original line-up. Derry Grehan soldiered on till a reunion of the original line-up in 2007. The band was still active as of 2008 releasing the Clifton Hill CD. I got this one from Hear Rock City a while ago so thanks go out to them.

Bobby Cotoia (R.I.P) piano, keyboards
Michael "Tunes" Antunes saxophone

A nice sounding recording and a solid performance, from John Cafferty & Company at the peak of their success. I got this from Hear Rock City a while back so thanks go out to them. The Springsteen-esque sound of John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band was the perfect soundtrack to the story of Eddie and the Cruisers, a fictional band from Jersey that makes it big only to have it's lead vocalist disappear mysteriously. The band rode the success of the movie and soundtrack into the charts. More soundtrack work followed in Sylvester Stallone's Cobra and Rocky IV. Download this show that is full of all the bands hits  and a fine performance, too.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds recorded in Austin, TX.

The Smithereens:

Pat DiNizio - Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
Jim Babjak - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Mike Mesaros - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Dennis Diken - Drums, Percussion

The Fabulous Thunderbirds

Kim Wilson - Vocals, Harmonica
Jimmie Vaughan - Guitar
Preston Hubbard - Bass
Fran Christina - Drums

Two great bands in one sweet sounding Pre-FM package. The retro Rock & Roll of The Smithereens and the southern fried Fabulous Thunderbirds. Draftervoi did a great job with the encoding this one. The classic commercials have been left but are chaptered so if you don't want to play them you don't have to. I know I say this a lot ... But if you don't have this show in your collection you  really should!!

I actually have meet Kim Wilson, I am a mechanic and he brought his car to my shop for some routine maintenance and when I went to ring up his sale he handed me a credit card that said Kim Wilson The Fabulous Thunderbirds. I confessed I had recognized him but didn't want to draw attention to him while he waited for his car to be finished. He thanked me for that and we chatted for a while. Turns out he lives in my town and became a regular customer. He had moved here to Michigan after meeting a local girl at Pine Knob Music Theatre and soon after married her. He's been a Michigan resident since.
