This 3 hour long concert from Mark Knopfler's 1996 tour is a great listen all the way through. The uploader says that this show has the best version of "Calling Elvis" ever. Not sure I can actually say that since I have not heard enough versions of the song yet. Mark's playing is phenomenal, the band is tight, the audience is really into it too! All the makings of a great listening experience. There is some radio noise on "I'm the Fool" right at the beginning, it's over quick, but loud. It's the only blemish so all Mark Knopfler fans really need this.

  1. Thank you so much for this flac version that will upgrade my 192 kbps version that was missing the 2 following songs I'm the fool (radio noise fixed with a bit of Magix Audio) and A night in Summer Long ago. So now, will listen to this full version easily burnt on 2CD if you skip the interviews and the audience songs from the day before.

    1. Glad I could help with the upgrade. I should have fixed the radio noise myself but I'm in the middle of editing a King Biscuit Flower Hour for Sam my KBFH guy, that was Los Lobos first national radio broadcast. I wanted to have some posts up for the weekend so I took a real quick break to do that.

  2. Thank you. I went to see him in 2013, here in Vegas. Afterwards I bought the show from his official site. It came as a thumb drive in a small guitar shape. I made a CD from that. I'm sure it's no longer available and I'll share it with you if you'd like.

    1. Hey that would be great! I really like Mark's guitar playing, finger picking like that. I play bass and I play with a pick. I just could not learn the finger picking style, I envy those who can and Mark does it on a six string, I can't even do it just using for. Please read that with humor LOL
