JustDave's Notes:
- Huge Thank You To Sam Elliot's Mustache for sending me his vinyl for me to encode!
- Thank you also to Draftervoi, Sam Elliot's Mustache and avnut for impute and assistance!

Run Out Grooves:
Side A : BOB-444-A MCR JOE
Side B : BOB-444-B MCR JOE
Side C : BOB-444-C MCR JOE

Known Faults:
- While checking the vinyl I did notice some tiny dimples on Record 1. These can be found on records usually without any harm to the sound, records were super clean on arrival from Sam Elliot's Mustache.

Recording Notes:
- There is a locked groove test tone at the beginning of Side A for radio stations to set output levels before broadcast. It was not encoded.
- King Biscuit put the 2 locked groove show promos at the end of Side A I moved them to the end of the show.
- Show matches a bootleg FM broadcast I have on my hard drive. The show is called The Toys For Tots Concert The Palladium, Los Angeles, California, USA February 12, 1982 King Biscuit Flower Hour FM broadcast so that date has been attatched to this recording.
- Lead vocalist Jimmy Farrar addresses the audience throughout the show as Los Angeles and as The Paladium.
- Show has been officially released a few times so posting show on any forums would not be alowed.

Editing Notes:
- Records hand cleaned with Record Research Lab Super Record Wash before playback.
- LP cleaned with the HumminGuru Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaning System prior to playback.
- A Zerostat Positive Ion gun was used on LP prior to playback.
- Raw transfer: EQ off, treble and bass levels set at +/- zero for most accurate sound of LP.
- Preservation being key the show is encoded complete with commercials and voiceovers.
- Declicked manually and some noise reduction used depending on what best served situation.

Other Notes:
- Not one member of the original lie-up of Molly Hatchet is alive. (See Molly Hatchet Extra Info text)
- Second vocalist Jimmy Farrar has also passed on. (See Molly Hatchet Extra Info text)
- Molly Hatchet still tour without one original member in the band.
- Bobby Ingram, who joined the band in 1987, has been leading the band without any original members since 1992. Except for between 2005-2017 when Dave Hlubek returned to the line-up as a "special guest"

  2. Thank you very much for this! I didn't realize that all of the original members had passed away (including Danny Joe Brown). I got to see them at a big outdoor event in 1980, which was great even though Danny Joe had stepped away for a bit at that time. I also got to see them in 2005 and they were terrible. The lead singer was constantly out of breath and sounded like he needed to be on oxygen. Anyway, I remember the better times. Thanks again, G.

  3. I never saw them with Jimmy Farrar but saw them a few times with Danny Joe Brown. They played at the Toledo Speedway Jam in Ohio a few times. That's were I saw them. I actually saw them in the late 1990s with Marshall Tucker, The Charlie Daniels Band & Hank Williams Jr. Molly Hatchet's singer then had problems making it through songs, they played a really short set. Then Marshall Tucker came out and Doug Grey's voice was gone, he couldn't sing and seemed drunk as well. They had Molly Hatchet's singer come out to sing "Can't You See" and it was terrible. Then Charlie Daniels came out and played a good set of classic Charlie Daniels. The Hank Jr came out and kicked major ass. I got kicked out when Hank was singing "Family Tradition". When Hank sang why do you roll smoke like every one else I lit up a doobie, then got kicked out for smoking weed.

    2. Yep! It's not like I was the only one smoking either. You could smell it everywhere. I had quite a few doobies on me so I'm glad they only kicked me out!
