That is it there is no other reason not to download and enjoy this Mike Millard audience recording. This is a pretty up close sounding recording. Either that or Millard was up a level and pointed right at the PA system. Either way it means you will enjoy this recording!!

ELP's presentation on this tour was on-point. I saw 'em at Soldier Field (w/ the orchestra) that June, and the columns which ran along the stadium's length (this was before the UFO landed on top during the 'remodeling') provided a spectacular backdrop to their set.
ReplyDeleteWon't ever forget it.
I am very jealous, I really would have loved to see this tour. My best ELP show experience was for the 1990s reunion. My Rosebud surprised me with main floor sixth row center at The Palace of Auburn Hills. They had a stereo sound system and being so close I could count the knives that Keith Emerson had in his organ. It was an incredible show. I saw ELP on that tour a total of 3 times. They were great! Hope you enjoy the recording!
