This one may surprise a lot of people but I happen to love Neil Diamond's music. He is such a great song writer, you see his name everywhere in the world of Pop, Rock and Adult Contemporary Music history. The Monkeys, UB40, Elvis even Deep Purple recorded and had hits with Neil Diamond songs. It's really no wonder that he was able to obtain such heights as to star in and write the soundtrack for a major motion picture. The Jazz Singer soundtrack hit number 3 on the American Billboard chart. Three singles "Love On The Rocks", "Hello Again" and "America" also hit the Top 10. My go to Neil Diamond is "I'm Glad You're Here With Me Tonight". I had an 8-track copy of it that I wore out. This is an awesome sounding recording so enjoy!

  1. My wife and I saw "A Beautiful Noise", which is teh story of Neil Diamond's ife, on Broadway. One of the best plays we have ever seen. If the traveling show verson comes to you town, go see it! Hope all is well with you and Rosebud!

    1. I actually just found out about that show while looking for info on this show. I am really hoping that it does come this way. The man is a fabulous talent. My oldest son Spider worked at the Palace of Auburn Hills as a go for to the stars. He met Neil Diamond, he had a reputation of being difficult to work for but my son never saw it. He just liked to be left alone to contemplate the night before shows he said.

  2. Beautiful noise is in my top 20 studio albums. I often play it still nowadays in my car. I don't think the show version will ever come over to Continental Europe unfortunately.

    1. Unfortunately that's most likely true. Unless it becomes a massively huge hit but hey we have the boots to listen to right?
