This is a great show, you really can't lose with live Rory Gallagher no matter what tour he was on. I have not heard a bad show in my years of collecting Rory boots. I have heard bad sounding recordings but not performances. Now when people reflect on the Classic Rock era some great guitar players get left out. Rory Gallagher, Paul Kossoff, Alex Lifeson, Rik Emmett, and more are usually forgotten in the discussion. Rory Gallagher's take on The Blues and Blues Rock was unique. There is something about Rory's tone and picking style that I can identify him without hearing the vocals. Like Ritchie Blackmore, Angus Young, Edward Van Halen and Carlos Santana, Rory Gallagher has a tone and style that is unmistakable. So sit back and enjoy!

Thank you for the Rory. You are spot on with your comments, and I might add Ted and Gerry made for a pummeling rhythm section. May you be blessed for this good deed!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Dr. Zhivago Feelgood, enjoy the music!!
