Hi everyone, We are sorry for the inactivity lately. We have not been home too much lately due to Rosebud's Mother being in hospital for a very bad fall. She lives in an assisted living facility due to her age, 88, and a need for more help in her daily life than she will let her family do for her. I bought a bigger house so she could live with Rosebud and I. She thank me but said no... So she was getting into bed but didn't call for help not wanting to bother the busy nurses. She fell backwards and couldn't get up so hit her alert button. When help came she refused to go to hospital and went to bed. During the night nurses had Mom sent to hospital for pain. After x-rays and an MRI they found she had broken a bone in her lower back where the spine meets the hip bones...She is now back at her living facility but facing a lot of therapy for it...Please be patient new post will return soon.
Thank You So Much
JustDave & Rosebud
I'll be the first to say our prayers are there.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see a another side to the "man" behind the blog. You have shared before. Family comes first. I still check daily...thanx.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. They get really stubborn when they get older - "not wanting to bother anyone" which always leads to more issues. Having that with my mom and the same with my wife's dad. Hang in there my good friend
ReplyDeletemy prayers with you and your family
ReplyDeleteC'est bien compréhensible ,c'est la moindre des choses !! à bientot !!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my God, poor woman. Good Luck with all, we'll have her (and both you and Rosebud) in our thoughts/prayers.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your family has been having a rough time. Sending healing thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about blog entries, life responsibilities are always first priority, we send you wishes for a quick recovery, looks like she is such a good person that she doesn't want to bother others even if when she should.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers go out to you, Rosebud, and her mom. I also know all the pain that comes with taking care of an elderly loved one.
