Band was on the same bill as Country Joe & The Fish, and Taj Mahal. From the bands US Tour early 1969. Led Zeppelin played the Fillmore from January 9 through January 12, 1969. Then back on April 24 & 27, 1969.
LPs cleaned with the HumminGuru Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaning system prior to a flat transfer of the vinyl to CD-r. A Zerostat Positive Ion gun was used prior to LP playback on said system. I used Goldwave to to manually remove a few real big pops that were due to scratches on the LP. I did not use a pop fix or noise reduction program. This and a couple other records, all boots, were found in the basement of my house when I moved in. They were covered in mildew or mold, which was cleaned by the sonic cleaner. There will still be some snaps but the vinyl is now playable and an enjoyable listen.

I am also torrenting this show at The Traders Den

Thanks JD. I'm typically played out by this early era of LZ, but this one seemed interesting!
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty good show. I do have some later era Zeppelin I will be posting soon. This is actually the 2nd Led Zeppelin related bootleg I bought. The first was a vinyl boot that had Jimmy Page era Yardbirds, early Jeff Beck Group and Jeff Beck era Yardbirds. After that it was Destroyer, I love the Progressive era my favorite song to hear them play live is "No Quarter" with Jones going off on the keyboards. Never got to see them but I have over 800GB of Zeppelin bootlegs!

I never got to see them either, but would have loved to!
DeleteHad my tickets for the Detroit show of the In Through The Out Door Tour but John Bonham died. I guess I was just born too late for Zeppelin live.
