JustDave's Notes:
The Palace Of Auburn Hills had opened it's doors on August 13, 1988. Pink Floyd were the first band of any Rock genre to play The Palace. My friend Gypsy Dan and I were in attendance the first night. The show was sponsored by WRIF-FM 101 Detroit so it cost each of us a $1.01 US for our ticket's, which were great seats. The Pig during "One Of These Days" shone directly at us for the long bassy synth solo in the mid section. It was blinding, the next day my bass player tells me that a Pink Floyd Roadie came into his Autoworks Parts Store to buy like 8 high-brightness halogen headlights for the Pig.

This recording covers both nights of Pink Floyd's 2 night stint as the opening Rock band of The Palace. Crosby, Stills & Nash played the next 2 nights for only $.98 US. I remember joking that David Crosby looked like Grandpa Jones from Hee Haw!

This is a large file set in both Flac and MP3. The Flac CDs have been uploaded separately and the MP3 has been uploaded in 2 parts. All parts will unzip separately.

    1. You're welcome! This was a great show at an amazing price! It really was $1.01 with no fees if you picked them up at the box office or radio station. I actually called off a band practice for this show. We were getting ready for a run of 7 shows in 7 days each was a 2 and a half hour show. We had a week to get ready. The guys were pissed at first till I said it was Pink Floyd. I had to buy shirts for all 3 of them!
