Rosebud has a pretty wide musical taste but if I ask her what she wants to hear I usually have to preface it with no Queensryche, Kansas or Dio. They are her 3 go to bands when asked, which sometimes annoys me since I have her every CD she asked for. I usually have to remind her she has the compete recorded works of Grace Slick and Lynyrd Skynyrd to get a different response out of her. Last night I didn't say that, so that means you benefit with a great Dio show! I probably say this too much but one thing I really love about Ronnie's Dio music is that it neatly ties together the music from his days in both Black Sabbath and Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.

Downloaded from https://purplehippies.com/ the best place for Deep Purple and related bootlegs!

ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome RickyRU...Ronnie James Di is one of my favorite musicians and I never saw him live with Sabbath or solo...Dave keeps me in bootlegs so I at least can get an idea....

I hope you have a great Turkey Day and also hope your feeling better my friend. Congrats on all the viewers . that is cool. i first show without my parents was DIO in 1985 At the COW PALACE in Frisco(San Francisco). With My cousin she was into all kinds of great music. Introduce me to 1 of my favorites Led Zeppelin. She Was a groupie kinda girl an was always getting backstage without passes at 1 point she had gone out with Bon Scott before he passed. I wouldn't say it was a date LOL. But if it wasn't for her i can not say what kinda music i would be into.
ReplyDeleteTake Care an THANKS for responding every time i comment it might not seem like much to other people . But i find it very polite and respectful.
Thanks again Brother
Your friend Ricky Ru
You're welcome Ricky Ru! I think it's impolite to not answer some one when they talk to you...I had 2 aunts that during their younger years were Grande Ballroom Groupies in the 1960's. The Grande was Detroit's Fillmore of sorts. If you played Detroit in the 1960's it was The Grande. In fact my Aunt Viv was Roger Waters of Pink Floyd's "road wife" if you will. Up until Dark Side Of The Moon when they came to Detroit they slept at my Aunt Vivs. Now when I was 5 my Aunt Red took me to my Aunt Vivs to watch Frijid Pink rehearse in her back yard. I met the MC5 there, the Stooges, Rationals..It was pretty cool to have Aunts like that!
