Sorry About The Delays In The New Music Posts!!

Since reactivating this music blog I have been sharing with you my fight with prostate cancer. That is actually 1 of the things that distracted me from the blog the last few weeks. My original cancer Doctor retired, but before doing so had told me there was some growth in the cancer. He referred me to a surgeon who I was waiting to see the last few weeks. So lots of nervous anxiety was hanging over the house. Rosebud's been a nervous wreck. Well I have seen the Doctor who told me that the growth was minimal and we came to a treatment agreement. I first need to have an MRI to confirm before we can treat. I then will be undergoing a cryosurgery to remove the tumor without removing the prostate. Which should make me cancer free....

Rosebud & I, to anyone of our readers struggling with cancer or any other terrible disease, Wish You Our Love And Prayers!! Keep Fighting!!

Enjoy the new music, Kiss, Jethro Tull, Lyle Lovett, Gill Scott-Heron & Pantera. Sorry I have no Jazz prepared for this week. I will deliver twice the Jazz Next Time, I Promise.

We Send You All Love, Respect, & Prayers For A Long Healthy Life Filled With Your Favorite Tunes

  4. JD & Rosebud,

Don't worry about posting. Your health is much more important. I'm sure the surgery, treatments, etc. will wear you down. Please take it easy and do not overdo things. This blog (and most other things) can wait until you are healthy.

    Our thoughts are with you.

  22. Hi Dave, I know what your are going through. I had my prostrate removed about a year ago. I get my PAS checked every 3 months, and so far so good. The hardest part for me was the self injections for 29 days to prevent blood clots. The other difficult thing was, you know, manhood, even that is back to near normal, with a little help. I know for me there were some very difficult time, but with the love and help of my wife and family and keeping a positive attitude I am in a good place. My advice for everyone else, get checked, it could save you're life. So, keep positive, keep fighting keep rockin'

I hope things are going well for you. Please post occasionally about how you are doing. I don't care about the music posts, I'm much more concerned with your health. We're thinking about you, and you are in our prayers.
